'89 240 DL Wagon Broken Tail Light

Post by CPV »

Hello everyone,

This morning I discovered that my driver's side tail light was broken on my station wagon. I have spent all day scouring the internet trying to find the cheapest way to replace the plastic lenses. All I have managed to find were the tail light assemblies. Is there another way besides buying a new assembly?

Thanks in advance!

i think it would help if some of the newer members put in their locations..s o we can guide you sources in your area.. or if other members have the parts to swap.

I agree... As MIJ said before... EBAY is a great place for used volvo stuff, especially 240's in my opinion.

If you are in the West Coast try these guys:

http://www.vandsautodismantlers.com/

I live in Orlando and they shipped me the entire assembly... I thing just the lense in my experience of tying to locate the same is nearly impossible if not impossible all together.

But if you are near Florida, try this guy who is right here in Orlando and he has 40 (80-94) 2, 7 and 9 series Volvos that he is parting out and this may prove a better find.

Either way... Lot's of luck!
Eric
