2000 S70 CV Joint Forgot To Mark Locations

In my haste I forgot to measure the distance between the CV joint and shaft; I also forgot to mark the location of each ball bearing. Should I be concerned about this or not worry if everything is snug?

If they were not run with a split boot for an very long time and contaminated to the point of being badly worn and clicking (in which case CV needs rebuild anyway) then it's no problem. I think we just mark the orientation because we are cautious DIYers.

I even mixed up balls and races on my VW Transporter, and despite the shrill warnings I got of impending warp core meltdown, the car ran another 100k miles fine.
