Hi, I am looking for a right front serviceable axle for a 2000 V70 XC. This car has the short case. I need part number 8251523. I have tried about 6 parts suppliers with no luck. Most suppliers like FCP have the 8251520 reman available but it does not fit this car. Other suppliers show 8251523 in their listings but it is not available. Volvo has this axle as a reman but the cost is extremely high.

I found an axle from a fella that was parting out his wrecked 2000 V70 XC. Less than a year old and it was a Volvo reman. I am looking for a shop than can overhaul the old axle. We have 4 of these 2000 V70 XC in the family and would like to avoid paying the dealership $475.00 for their reman. Still trying to figure out why no parts places are listing this axle.
