Hi. I have lower control arm bushing that are worn. Should I just replace the press-in bushings or get the whole control arm w/ bushings and ball joint too? I would like to get decent quality too. If I get new bushings, I would also need advice as which ones to get as far as price/quality. OE Volvo are $30 on ebay each and some are as cheap as $8. Is this critical? Are the inexpensive ones of noticeably lower quality? All help much appreciated.

Thank,

Feld

Hello, I have read a lot on this forum about the control arms. I am pretty sure others will chime in to say go with full OEM replacement or lemforder. I used meyle last winter and things seem to be doing alright, but I have been driving a lot less and slower/gentle. my old wagon is on borrowed time.

Is your v70 an AWD? I think they use a different control arm than non-AWD

if you have to remove the control arms to change the bushings, I am thinking to just replace the whole arm or you may be back in there sooner than you think with a replacement bushing.
