Hey, now that's funny...this site is neither...maybe the thing that comes closest to that here is my name. Only reason I have it is because I was born over there and continue to work with Japanese...anyway, thanks for the info.
Thanks Kelvin6,

I mentioned JDM Forums because I drive an '06 Honda Civic daily and try to modify it a little. I got this Volvo by a plain coincidence only a week ago ( I test drove and...) so I could not refer to Volvo sites.
Funny thing is that I bought it for my wife and she is not even interested in it

Commonly JDM is referred to aftermarket/stock parts from Japan. Common items include JDM headlights, meaning Japanese stock versions of a headlight, which sometimes are different from the US versions. Another JDM item is a like a Honda JDM engine... and people doing all sorts of motor swaps with these direct from Japan engines.

Yeap,
that is all true!
And as it is about Volvo 850 manual, It is absolutely great. I have the scanned (.pdf )Haynes one, but it is not even close.
I can share the Haynes if anybody is interested but have no clue how (not a PC braniac) so someone would have to guide me trough it.

OK, the file is 40+ MB so I could not email it. I was trying to use Yousendit. For some reason it did not work. I used Wyslijto.pl, polish version of very same site. It worked!
here is the link:

Don't mind all the polish writing just click once on "Volvo (Haynes) Manuals Service And Repair - Volvo 850(X).pdf", another site will pop and click the same link again...
Let me know did it worked

Thanks for the email but I finally figured it out here. This is such a find!! I think this needs to quietly sit here....let's not make a big deal out of this....or else it will most likely get pulled. Also, I should note that this is the Brit. version...thus the '92-'96 designation. Europe's model year was one year ahead so U.S. auto owners should keep that in mind when using this.

Well, since I don't run this site, we'd have to ask Matt about it. I'm sure like any forum there is an acceptable use policy but to tell you the truth I can't find it...seems like I saw it and agreed to it way back when, when I signed up for this forum. Otherwise, I found where the software writers do say that any legal matters need to be taken up with the forum administrator and that would be Matt. I'll shoot him an email and see what he says. I'm thinking it might be okay for Matt because his site isn't exactly the one hosting the material. Those who upload the stuff and give a link here would therefore be the responsible party, but I might be wrong there....we'll see.
Regards,
MIJ

Thanks for bringing this to my attention MIJ.

I'd rather not have links to copyrighted material displayed in the forum. It's not worth a letter from a publisher's law team. The MVS server is located in California so it does fall under US copyright law.

Thanks for understanding,
Matt
