1996 850t Stalling in weird circumstances

Thank you to all who gave ideas as to what could be wrong w/ my 1996 850 Turbo.

I was down w/ pneumonia for a month so, after that...I got to work.

A post or two regarding the negative ground wire to the battery, caught my attention.

While I had replaced my battery, due to the greater cranking power available in smaller batteries, the battery I purchased was much smaller than the one I replaced. In fact, I couldn't get the old batter out as it had a "tongue & groove" type thing going on. Had to enlist a neighbor to help there.

Replaced batter, plugs, two vacuum lines replaced and it finally ran...with the aforementioned stalling problem.

After reading all of the ideas which came in I decided to put wood blocks around the battery so it could not shift whenever I turned. Worked like a CHARM! Car stopped stalling for a week.

Alas, then...it started to stall more than ever and threw a P0120 code.

After reading all of the info I found on this great site, regarding that particular code, I went back and did some investigation. Pulled out the sensors which reside by the front fan. Cleaned them. Double checked my coil wire which didn't seem to be in all of the way, so I took it out...checked it and re-inserted, ensuring the contacts were all of the way buried into the coil.

Then, I took a look at the battery. On the metal bits which are connected to the large wires (negative and positive)...on the positive side, was a smaller wire which joined the positive, battery connection. The bolt which held in that skinny red wire was so loose, I thought the bolt might fall out on next test drive.

Tightened it all down, cleaned contacts on that "gray" plug under the plastic shelf up by the fan.

Ensured all was reconnected and tightened down. Then I cleared the P0120 code w/ scanner.

Took "Sofia" (my 1996 Volvo 850T) out for a quick test drive...no stall, no blinking arrow on dash, no check engine light. As yet.
