Does he offer international postage? His pumps are very good and even worked with my P2 XC70. Only downfall was the quality of the supplied clamps.

When I open the page from my browser here in the US, it says he ships international, and $27 for shipping to the US. So $87 total cost, that's terrific.
Out of curiosity I asked him the Bosch part number. I fully trust the part will work, that is not the issue, just curious.

The Bosch number is 0986 580 979 which I found no match for. Still it's a Bosch and it works. The clamps provided were stainless solid clamps but the screws which tightened them stripped out on first use.

Yes it was the pump. I got my from Amazon. Actually, they are correct it wouldn't work with my car. One has to replace the fuel line because the new pump is shorter but it's not a big deal just one extra trip to the parts store.
I checked the voltage after I disconnected grey connector with red and black wires, and it was fine.
The biggest problem I had was the plastic ring/nut. There is a metal pipe connected to rubber hose very close to the plastic ring and unless you push it away you wouldn't be able to turn the plastic ring.
Thanks for all your help.

Seller advertises as direct fit for 850s. I used mine in a P2 series and it's a direct fit size and terminal wise. Only problem with P2s is that they use a fuel line that is moulded into a figure 8 shape and it's very hard to reproduce without kinks. Performance was fine and a quiet pump. After the figure 8 lines tore twice I gave in and ordered a complete assembly for the 2002 XC70.JimBee wrote:Mike, Erik, others: So that pump kit will fit the 850 OEM pump housing and all connectors are direct fit?

Bosch, in a nice black box. Everything worked great, except the fuel line from the old pump was too short .
I also sealed the wires on the top like you suggested
