1972 Volvo 142 Questions

I have a couple questions about my volvo. Firstly it seems to be missing a 'vacum advance' connection from the twin carbies and I was wondering if there was some way of fixing this.

Secondly I speedometer started playing up recently, sticking and so on, and while topping up the gearbox oil I noticed that the speedo cable near the gearbox is severly worn. I guess this is causing my problem so I descided to replace it, but I am having a great deal of problems finding a replacement. As an alternative I might have to put in an electric speedo and was wondering if that was possible and if someone hase any ideas how that could be accomplished.
