1990 240 Will 1013 Dice connect to a 240?

Hey all 240 fans, I have seen a nice 1990 that I might go look at on Craigslist but before I so I was curious if my Volvo Dice diagnostics tool would work on it... its 2013A and I use it frequently to check for codes on my V70's but curious if 240 can do this too.

Other than diagnostics, any good tests beyond inspecting the general condition? Any specific places to check for rust and body condition perhaps?

I have a 90 240 and can tell you, no.
They are equipped with obd1 which is a small box under the hood with a button and jumper. Quite different from the obd 2, still usefull.
If the price and condition are good go for it. Its a great car. A real workhorse.
