89 245 runs rough after hard driving

Hello again.

Just a question as to what may cause my car that normaly runs perfect to idle rough when I come to a stop in traffic after driving it hard.

I normally don't abuse my car but there are times that I floor it on the highway if I am late to get somewhere and when I get off the highway and lets say stop for a light, or in a parking lot scenario it starts to idle rough like it wants to stall.

I then place it in neutral or park and gently rev it up until it seems to stop wanting to cut out and then all is back to normal.

1989 245 with 194k, in Florida USA, usually go 50/50 on 93 and 87 octane fuel.

Anything I should do or look at? Or maybe lay off the gas pedal a little?

Your car should have a diagnostic box in the engine compartment.
