Noisy brake pedal

My brake pedal squeeks when pressed down. Works well but just a little annoying. Is there a way of greaseing or oiling it?

Put a piece of polythene sheeting over the floor beneath the brake pedal, to protect the carpets, then spray the pivot with WD40. Wipe off any excess.
