2001 V70 Spark Plugs & Key

Hi bouth a 2001 2.0T V70 with only 75000 km and have two questions:

I bought a key fob replacement with a flip key to replace the two-piece remote and key, it works perfectly but i'm not impressed with the quality of the keyfob.
Is there any way where i can buy a genuine Volvo Flip Key Housing?

The Spark Plugs on the car have never been changed, and i'm on to a longer vacation journey in 6 weeks.
Do you think i should change them in advance or just never change a running system and throw the new ones in the boot if something goes wrong?

75000 km on the plugs?? I would replace them immediately. Once they start misfiring they will quickly foul and give you trouble. You may want to put some penetrating oil on them because they may be to difficult to remove after 14 years in the head.

Genuine Volvo flip key goes with transponder inside so it should be programmed to the car.

For the key fob, I guess you got a china one off Ebay? How about getting a used one and swap the key blade, board &chip?
