I replaced the 1 year old MAF with the older one I had removed. The incident (chocking to stall) happened again but seemed more violent. I will put back the newer one tomorrow. At the same time verify the coils.
re TCV, I haven't seen any code for it. And besides, when I hit the floor this baby turns into a rocket.
The symptoms are identical to an engine stopping when gas runs off. Only it doesn't stop. It chocks and coughs and eventually gets going.
maybe fuel supply?

Have you tried running with no mAF, just disconnected.
The car will run on a default set if fuel rpm map and will run ok with poor gas mileage but it wont stall.
Check your grounds , all of them, and have a look at your ignition wiring. I don't think you have a fuel problem.

I tested the pins at the end of both cables to MAF and Booster sensor. I couldn't read any resistance.
As if not grounded?
Also, non of the booster's 3 pins nor the four on the MAF would show any sign (pin to car body).
I ran the engine and no Voltage could be read (again pin to body) just 0.03 V on 12V scale for ALL the pins.
Voltmeter shows 12+ V on the battery so it is not dead.
BTW I tested all with key on position I, II and engine running.

In Vida Communication ECM read off MAF kg/hr with engine idling. Should be around 14. Also boost sensor has readings in Vida as well as charge air temp (sensor next to boost sensor on pipe leading to throttle)
If no readings on both MAF and boost sensors you should have codes (CEL) for both items.
Have you considered removing ECM for a good cleaning of terminals?

Mike, thanks for the feed. I remeasured my boost cable/wire using a a sewing needle and got these reading at the booster cable end [idling engine] left to right .75V, ground well connected, 4.82V
So wires must be OK
This is what Vida shows in idle;
your comments will be more than welcome.

I'm more concerned that the ECM believes there is no airflow through the MAF. Should be around 14kg/hr
This alone would influence all other readings. First thing I would try is ECM removal and cleanimg. This IS pointing to a faulty MAF however you need to measure the voltage supply at MAF before blaming it.

Mike,
I looked at the voltage on the cable end to MAS sensor;
left to right pins are void - red - #3 - #4 - blue (sorry, I'm color blind)
voltage reading nil - 13.9V - 0.06V - 0.77V - 0.06V
Or, shall I read the voltage with the MAF connected to the cable?
BTW I was driving back home today, the engine started its spiel. I disconnected the booster cable first, it still did a little coughing. Then I disconnected the MAF cable and the convulsion stopped.
Any thoughts?
Still remove ECM and clean with electrical contact cleaner?
Removing the ECM is a real pain with the homemade tool

It would make more sense to measure it connected because it is an output device whose voltages change with perceived airflow.
One of those smaller voltages should change with increase in revs.
I believe there should be approximately a 5V output from the MAF at idle.

I tried the MAF again with a new sewing needle! I do get 5V on one of the middle wires while idling.
But I didn't see change when pressing the gas pedal.
