Hello,
I need to remove the driver's side front door trim. There is some surface rust right below the trim and I would like to see whether there is also rust under this trim. How do you remove it?

Well... if it's the exterior "bump guards" or whatever one might call them, I think the answer to your question is "A knife". 
V/S70 has them on with adhesives, if I recall correctly.
