00 V70R A/C clutch keeps spinning
A/C was blowing warm air and noticed the clutch wasn't engaging. So I tested it ON w/ my gauges and saw about 10 psi. At first my system was completely empty so I put 12 oz w/ UV DYE just in case I had any leaks. Clutch kicked on and would cycle on/off every 5 secs, so I added another can and the pressure is now at 28-30 psi (low) side. I touched both lines at the firewall of the Evap and they are freezing to the touch and the inside temp is about 45 degrees per my thermostat (cold). Now my clutch just spins and doesn't turn off, like it doesn't compress off anymore. Any ideas ? Inside temp is perfect but I'm sure a running clutch isn't good too

There is a parallel thread that should answer some of your questions:

Namely that normal pressure on the low side is about 45 psi at 90 degrees F. Also the engine needs to be revved to 1200+ rpm for accurate measurement, in which case you would likely see the pressure drop below your current gauge reading. So you may have a leak that is causing icing in the evaporator--hence the cold inside reading, but compressor laboring to keep up.

I think you've been cookin' in Brooklyn for the past few days, Baptsiste. If it is over 90 F the AC might not cycle at all, especiall if you don't hold 1500 rpm for at least 15 minutes.
Saw off a stick from a stick ball game at prop the pedal...no throttle cables on ETM cars of course.
