I have a SC-900 and SC-811, I took both apart but I can't seem to find the connection point. (See pictures for reference). Does anyone have any experience or advice with either. Thanks!

I can see a small R on the top photo board but no L. Nothing no where else.

The new phones really don't work will with this mod anyway. They get to quiet between songs which sends a signal to the radio that the sound has dropped, when the next song starts, it kicks in with a pop when can damage speakers. Mp3 players work well, but no the other digital music.

If I could, I'd like to find the wires that come off the ribbon and tap into them. I'm sure it would all work better. Or make some kind of plug that would work well with the CD changer plug.

I figured out the SC 811, with the help of a magnifying glass! It is extrememly difficult as the traces are VERY close together and it is not clear which label corresponds to which solder joint but it works beautifully, sound is great. Too bad I didn't fish the female end throug a hole first so I have to re-do this. I will post a pic if anyone is interested.

As for the SC-900, I can't seem to find the connection point so I gave up.... for now.

Well, I did exactly as described, but I can't seem to get the cassette tape to stay in the stereo.
On top of that, I don't even know if it ever worked, because I never listened cassette tape's before.
Any idea as to why it won't accept the cassette tape?
I am totally lost now.

Thanks a lot!

My cassette worked perfectly before attempting this mod, but it wont even accept them now, I put the cassette in and... Nothing, wont draw it into the mechenism, wont initiate playback nothing

My soldering it spot on, am I missing something?

Ive got a SC-816 from a 99 car and think it may be dead now after attempting this :/

Hi friends!
I add an AUX input in some different way.
In the main motherboard (under bottom cover) I solder the two leads from the audio cable (Left & Right).
Ground lead was solder as in the photo.

All your need, remove the cassette deck ribbon cable!
Ribbon cable I was isolated with scotch.

Enjoy!
Turn "Tape" and listen music from your phone, mp3 player or iPhone.
Sorry for my English...
