Temp gauge (again...)

Post by LucB »

The temp gauge on my '98 V70 (2.5 - 10v) often drops below the 3 o'clock position, even during a long drive. When this happens, the automatic climate control seems to have troubles as well. After some time (anything between a couple of minutes and half an hour) everything's back to normal, ready for the next drop.

I had the thermostat replaced, but to no avail.

Any suggestions?

Did you change it with a Volvo recommended thermostat?

Yep, it was even done by a regular Volvo dealer. Do you think he could have tricked me?
