1992 940T Smoke from Turbo Area when Oil cap removed

Post by mika »

Odd! As mentioned above: when car is running, and the oil cap is removed, I get some smoke from the turbo area. It usually surprised me and I throw the cap back on. Any ideas? how this could happen? Goes away as soon as cap is locked down.

I still don't have negative pressure, after replacing PCV. I am starting to believe that since the car does not have a CAT, it is affecting how the exhaust valves open and close. The glove test is permanently failing on this car, but somehow not leaking oil at all anywhere.
