09 c30 r clicking/ping when putting the car in gear.

HI everyone, I'm new to this forum I apologize that a problem is my first post.

My car has 92xxx on it and ever since I’ve had it and put 10xxx miles on it I’ve had the same problem. What happens is, sometimes when I go to put it in gear after starting the car a loud click, ping will happen. It happens when shifting in drive or in reverse. This is a sound that another guy recorded and has the same issue as me but only in reverse. Also it will do the same thing when letting off the gas or pressing the gas at lower speeds.



I know that my cv axles are good, because I have ran the car in both forward and reverse turning sharply in figure 8's and no noise. I also am sure that my transmission in running well because it shifts smoothly and I also have no lights on the dash.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. is this axle ping?
