Has anyone had problems with the immboilizer light coming on repeatedly?
Car has 35K, the light came on and won't start a few times, I took it to the dealer and they were finally able to pull the code and they told me "technically the car shouldn't be running".
They replaced the entire ignition system and gave me 2 new key transmitters.
After about 3 weeks of driving, the stupid light came on again! HELP!
Thank goodness it is a certified Volvo and everthing has been under warranty, but it is becoming a pain!
Any feedback would be appreciated

Mine did the same at 99k, and is a 2001. The light would flash and no start, after trying 3-200 times it would start. I replaced the immobilzer ring antenna, which resides around the ignition sw. part was about $14.00US and I did it myself in under an hour. Original keys worked fine with the new unit and I did not need to reprogram as told by the dealer.
