1999 V70 Dim instrument lighting

My instrument lighting is very dim - speedometer, gauges almost impossible to read. Dimmer rheostat goes from off to very dim. Do I replace dimmer switch or must I look into panel itself Will appreciate any guidance. Mario 1234

Some of your instrument panel bulbs have blown and need replacing.
LED's can be suitable replacements,available in different color options and much more long lasting.
Do a search for relevant posts in the forums repairs/reference section.
