Post by cainxc9o »

so long story, i have a 05 xc9o t5 that had a burnt valve, my wifes uncle wanted to fix it for us so we let him, big mistake!! he got it torn apart fixed valve and had heads resurfaced, started to put it back together then lost his mind and went on an alcohol and meth binge. eff me! so now i gotta get it put back together, from what ive heard when he got the pistons and stuff back they were numbered on how they were supposed to be put back in but i guess that all got lost and forgotten. so i guess my question is how can i find the info to be able to put this thing back together? been making payments for a year now while this low life has had it and i really want my car back. any help would be appreciated. i feel like im lost and dont know what to do, this is driving me crazy!! :(

How did he decide the engine had a burnt valve and how many cylinder heads are on a 6 cylinder engine ? Why were the pistons removed from the engine with a burned valve ? These are complicated engines and need competent people working on them.
The only advice I can give you is to have a professional to ( if it is not f**ked up beyond repair ) put it back together .
