1995 850T Does this turbo hose go to air box? SOLVED

I think this (broken) turbo hose needs to go up to the #3 (bottom) spigot on the three-connector vacuum tree on the passenger side of the air box. Is that correct?

You can see the 3 prong clamp (dark green under the grease) still on the spigot but the hose breaks off just after that point.

Definitely. Here is the basic diagram, be sure to use the proper nipple on the turbo control valve, you are dealing with the red line:

Being an 850 Turbo, your TCV may look a little different to the one Erik picture shows. If I recall it is mounted on the inner wing on LH side and is like a cylinder. Same purpose.

Mine looks like the one in this diagram. The solenoid is attached to the pax side of the airbox.

In that case you need a pipe to connect from the turbo to the TCV to replace the GREEN pipe.

What Neil said. Use generic rubber vacuum hose or if you want to get fancy, silicone hose. Just make sure it fits snugly on both ends.

I was able to get a replacement hose on by using a 12" long pair of 45° angle tip needle nose pliers. Although there is only an inch or so to get access to the vacuum hose underneath the turbo charger, the replacement went on smoothly.

It helps to buy an extra 8" of hose so you can maneuver it around, then clip it on, and then just cut off the excess at the other end before attaching it to the solenoid on the airbox.
