WTB: Gear Selector Button for 98 V70

The whole button assembly crumbled apart on mine, really just looking for the button and mechanism that goes into the gear selector as my handle itself is in good shape.

IPD... Its easy to replace. The handle just pulls off and the tricky part is getting to spring to seat in such a way that it falls back into place on the new one. <--- this one took me a few tries, but really easy overall.

Thanks! I saw they have just the button, but on mine the actual black mechanism completely crumbled apart so I need the whole gear selector or just that internal part. Was trying to avoid spending $90 on a new selector.

Are you talking about the over ride button or the entire shifter? I am tearing my '98 down and can pull parts.

Nope, i'm looking for just the top of the gear selector, Well actually i'm looking for the insides, but would take a whole shift knob if a good price.

This is the part i'm looking for.

Pulled the one from my '99 and replaced it with wood grain. It's yours for the ship cost. Let me check and make sure nothing is broken tonight. PM me an address and I will let you know.
