Solenoid is located under DEM module itself.
So to take off pressure sensor or solenoid you need first to take DEM off.
You need to look at DEM's sealant carefully. If you notice any bad signs DEM should be resealed.

thanks to all for the input. my main issues are finally resolved and i thought i would provide an update.
my aoc pump was bad, i replaced that. after replacing, i still did not have awd functioning. in addition to awd not functioning, i also had the brake failure fault. turns out my cem was faulty. i had no power in fuse 15 of the cem. therefore, i lost communication with the bcm which in turn was not providing wheel speed data to the dem.
tony at xemodex was most helpful with phone support. pulled the cem and had it back from xemodex within 3 days.
btw, all codes cleared and i now have 750 mA as the solenoid current.
