Have had great luck with my C70 over the past ten years also. Really minimal issues covering 160K miles and only had to replace the power steering pump, auto trans controller and the two rear springs that broke. Oh and two loudspeakers but I don't use the stereo anyway. Other than that only regular maintenance and normal wear and tear items (fluids, filters, PCV, timing belt, brakes, wipers, tires and shocks and such). Then on my S80 T6 the only thing has been a driveshaft, in 100K miles (plus of course all the regular maintenance and wear and tear stuff). So we've been impressed as well.

Overall, these are reliable cars, they have a few (or many depending on who you ask) small issues.

What brand brake rotors and pads do you use?

I used Volvo 'blue box' discs and pads. To my mind, doing the work myself saves enough money to not skimp on parts.

Mecheng, as far as can remember they are all Volvo except I got a deal on a set of front pads that I think where Zimmerman. I am 99% of the time using factory everything but I think I learned my lesson on my last Volvo 940 turbo wagon. I babied that thing and used all Volvo parts and made sure everything worked perfectly, which I still do on my v70,. Even when the headliner sagged down I had a upholsterer use suede for the headliner, than one day and guy hit me and the car was totaled, it was worthless because of the mileage. So I am now kind of careful of putting too much money on a car that has this many miles on it but at the same time keep it working as good as it can be. I hope that made sense.
