99 xc70 intake pipe sensors
I removed the starter and replaced. In the photo, the left sensor was loose and literally fell out of the hose when I started to unplug it. I believe it is air intake temp. I put an ohm meter on it and no conductivity. is there a correct test for this.? This is directly under the intake manifold before throttle body. thanks

That is intake air temp. Probably digital due to having three wires.. I'd bet it sends out a 5v signal dependant on temp.
The clips break and they fall out.. I siliconed mine in.
