low dipped beam, 2000 S80

bulb failure,dipped beam is what appears in the message window.

When this appears, the low beams do not work. It is not the bulb,
because every now and then the message will go away and the lights
will work. I took it to a shop and they replaced the relay which didn't fix
it.

Remove the low beam bulbs and check the connectors. Sometimes they can get corroded and lose contact. If there is any powdery residue on them, use a wire brush to clean them up and use some di-electric grease on the contacts to prevent further corrosion.

If they aren't corroded, you may have wiring issues...which are much more difficult to troubleshoot.
