I am looking at a '99 Volvo with about 55k miles at a local non-Volvo dealer. The car seems fine, but the ETC light is on. I know it is the electronic throttle control fault light. I did a search here, but found no info on the fault. Can someone give me a ball park estimate on repair costs.
The dealer will warranty only to pass inspection, which I think it won't pass as I believe the ETC light would indicate an emissions problem which is part of the inspection in NH where I live. Thanks
