hi again as any one used or heard of AMETECH ENGINE RESTORE OIL - ENGINE RECONDITIONING,,,,,,,,does it work as im thinking of getting some,,,?

You cannot ever fix an engine by pouring something into the oil. Sorry, it just doesn't work. If you have problems, this won't fix them.

Ametech sounds like something from one of those multi-level schemes where they charge about triple for everything they sell. If you want to try to reduce your oil consumption until you have time or money to fix it, try a heavier oil.

My favorite is Castrol Synblend 20W50. It also does a good job of cleaning and will sometimes free stuck rings or soften brittle seals and greatly reduce oil consumption.
