Demand for Thule?

Hey all,

We're currently entertaining the idea of bringing in the THULE line to add to our offering. Is this something that would be useful for you all?

I've bought a lot of Thule products for my two Volvos. Some of it VOLVO branded. Their stuff is readily available online. I usually buy their products from REI. If they don't have it in stock at the local store, I can order it online and have it shipped for free to local store. REI has a THULE sale a couple times a year and if I need anything I usually wait for the sale. For the VOLVO branded stuff, I've bought stuff from a VOLVO dealer that has an online storefront and prices better than local VOLVO dealers.

Thule is expensive. Unless you can beat or at least meet the lower online prices, it's probably not worth the hassle. I have had plenty of Thule products they are on every one of my cars.

When I priced out a Thule rack to take Muffin to college I built a frame with 15 dollars of lumber in one hour instead. Ok, I'm a bottom feeder.....

Ill be happy to OEM these to FCP at 175 USD

Add 50 dollars for the flotation option.

I can write THOOL on the side in sharpie for marketing purposes - for an extra 7.50 per letter.

There is no knocking the product or quality of Thule stuff. Biggest issue for those of us north of the border is the cost of shipping and the 75c US$ for us.

Good luck with this plan if you go ahead with it!
