Based on Engine SN, your arrangement may be on of the variants shown.

I believe the drain can be opened/closed with a 13mm box wrench, be careful not to overtighten
Example of Precision: Measure with a Micrometer, mark it with Chalk, and then cut it with an Axe.
Disclaimer: We (very) seldom do that
