This car was a daily driver until January 2015. Since that time it has been garaged. In the previous 18 months the following have been replace: battery, starter, distributor, e-brake system, front left strut and timing belt. Have receipts for all of these parts and some others. Included with the vehicle are some extra parts/tools specific for a Volvo 850.
The reason I am no longer driving the car is because the starter would crank and then disengage. I replaced the camshaft position sensor and distributor to try to resolve the issue, but the problem was not solved.
Currently the car is not running and will need to be towed away. Located in the Worcester MA (Northborough) area. Please email/pm for additional information.

Seems a shame...I had a similar problem with my starter- even bought a new starter...my problem was starter would not stop once the key was turned. I had a suicide switch to pull the connection to it once the car started. I even replaced the ignition switch. Finally, found a stray bare wire under the starter that was making some kind of contact...taped it up and problem was resolved. Someone near you with some knowledge, it seems could sort the problem out for you!
