1998 v70 t5 m56 Wishbone worn?

Post by darylrobert »

my mechanic told me my outer tie rod needs replacing, I assume because their is a lot of play. so today I installed my new OEM tie rod without checking for myself if the old one was bad, after installation there is still a lot of play in the strut, its moving around a lot at the wishbone balljoint a lot more than the other side. is this normal??. I think I will take the car to another mechanic..

Control Arm balljoint usually goes out at 80K-90K miles.
Use Lemforder or Moog.
