2000 v70 XC anybody installed Do88 intake pipe?

How to go faster, stop quicker, and turn harder. Chips, exhaust, larger turbos, bigger/slotted/drilled rotors, high performance brake pads, manual boost controllers, performance shocks/struts/springs, airbox mods and more! Also discussion on HID and Xenon lights, aftermarket foglights and other exterior lighting.

2000 v70 XC anybody installed Do88 intake pipe?

Post by cvergi01 »

So, I've installed a 16T turbo, then had the car tuned by Lucky. Since then I have added in an IPD short ram intake and all was well! I figured I'd keep up the good work and add in the Do88 intake pipe. After that, my long term fuel trim is skyrocketing, max boost is 6-7 PSI (was 10-12) and I'm getting a fuel trim code after about 15 miles of highway driving.

If you're not familiar with the Do88 pipe, it has the MAF sensor housing built in. I have looked for any leaking clamps/connections all look good. My boost gauge is showing about 20 InHg (-20PSI?)at idle I'm going to double check the PTC hose tomorrow (it took some maneuvering).

I was wondering if anyone else has installed this and had a problem with the built in MAF housing?

I should point out that the MAF is reading 3-4 g/s at idle according to the Torque app and seems to climb pretty smoothly in accordance with throttle input.
"I'm bored, I'm gonna go work on the car"
...

"Again?!?"
