This isn't a propus. The Propus is a larger wheel (I think 17"). This one is a 15 inch rim, which i've personally never seen before either. It looks HOT IMO, that would look great on my car as I still want to run 15"s (because of city driving with crappy roads).

You are correct....the Propus is indeed 17"....but they do look the same. I'm wondering if the 15" look-alike is a knock off? They do look the same.

It may have come from a special edition XC... trying to remember the model I saw the other day. Trek (bicycles) perhaps?
