Radiator hose difficult to DIY? 99 S70
It looks like i can put that radiator hose on myself. Is there anything special that needs to be done? like use some kind of pressure to keep air bubbles out or what? Its the top hose and i was going to order the hose and 2 clamps. I took it it a shop and they want to charge me $170 and it doesn't look like its hard to do.
Oh yea! I have a 99 S70 vovlo

Thats a great DIY job. 170 USD - Jeesh...thats a gold plated price even in NYC!
If you don't mind dumping a little coolant, just pop it off, replace, replace lost coolant. Wash down coolant with hose so the kitties don't get sick.

Flat head screw driver is the only tool you'll need for the top hose.
Maybe 30 minutes of your time? Including 25 minutes of driving to a auto parts store to pick up coolant.

Not hard at all. I did my top hose in 5 minutes. Granted, my cooling system was empty... just put a bucket under the car to catch coolant, and keep it off the belts. Make sure the car is cooled off so you don't scald yourself with antifreeze.
