What is the difference betwen the 850 turbo and the GLT?

Hello,

I'm brand new to Volvos. Is GLT a trim level?

My car just has an 850 badge on the back, but it is a turbo with power, leather, sunroof, etc ...

I know the GLT has a smaller turbo than the turbo models. I think mostly the rest of it is that the options aren't options, but standard trim.

GLT is a trim level.... It has a low pressure turbo from '97 on, but before that even if it said GLT, it had no turbo....at least here in the U.S. Hope that helped.

Just to add to MIJ's comments,

The GLT that came out in 93 only offered a non turbo... so the best way to check on this is the vin# and if you see 55.. its a non turbo in the 5 or 6th position of the vehicle identification number on all model cars!
