1994 Volvo 940 Windows stuck

So i just purchased a volvo 940. the passenger window rolls down but all of the other windows will not. When the buttons are pushed you can hear the power going and a click as if to make the window go but the windows will not move. then when you push the buttons back up you can hear it go back up as if it had been down some. does anyone know what this means? or how it could be remedied?

new to this whole 940 thing- only ever had a 240.

1992 Volvo 940 Power Window Switch Repair - "Based on some Googling, the switch usually goes bad on Volvos of this vintage more often than the motor/regulator itself. Do your homework and you'll find what you need. You can get a new switch for $10 online if you don't feel like taking it apart and cleaning it."
