Hey guys! My 740 more or less tried to commit suicide  and torched a lot of the wiring coming from the ignition coil into the cabin. I know how to get the wiring going to the fuse panel out. But how do I remove the harness coming from the engine bay to the inside of the car? I want to tape that up and make sure what I can't see isn't burnt.

It's not the engine harness, it's the harness going back from the coil THROUGH the firewall and then to the ECU and fuse panel. I wish it was as easy as the engine harness.

I don't own a 700 series Volvo...but from looking at this thread, specifically that diagram, I must assume coil and powerstage wires are bundled with headlight wires. So, start disconnecting, or splice what's needed to be spliced.
