I hit 250,000 miles on my '98 S70 T5 yesterday. I had to pull over and take a picture!

I just bought a 95 850 base Wagon for $300. Has 241k on her. Needs pcv replacement, timing belt replacement, and a few cosmetic repairs, but I hope to take her over 500k.

Good luck with that!! Just make sure oil is changed regularly...you start hearing some clacking and get some white smoke at start up- start thinking that you might have leaky valve stem seals. I think that was the culprit on a burnt exhaust valve a few years ago that ended up requiring a head job on my car. Also, in the history of my S70 I had an INA tensioner roller cover fall off in the timing belt path bending all of my valves....so, 250K miles, yes! But...that was not without issues along the way. Now, she purrs like a big cat! Just make sure you use Volvo parts when you do your timing belt and related parts and check all your seals- replace them as needed when you do the TB!

I got 205K and some change. Father in law said "well if you get 2 years out of this car, it'll be a good investment". That was 3 years ago.

Very nice! Mine is at 169,900-ish. Will start going up very soon. My cousin has a '99 S70 T5 with 203k, but it's down right now, in need of a water pump and timing belt.

Cheers & Beers on making it to the Moon and part way back!
The Sled currently has a bit over 211,000mi. on the original motor and I'm the original owner to boot.
Looking forward to going very deep & long with the sled as new(er) cars are just scary complex & expensive. Plus, I hate the high belt-lines.
