So, the tranny finally went at 289K, so my Silver 2001 v70 is being replaced by an identical Sliver 2004 v70 at a lower total cost than putting a rebuilt tranny into the 2001.
So, before we call the junkyard and have them haul it away, call dibs on parts you want, and you will get whatever you need at 25% of retail price, you pay shipping from zip code 10128 (NYC).
Anything not claimed by Friday, 5pm EDT May 6th will not be removed from the car.
The car is in great shape and has been meticulously maintained, so most parts are far newer than the car, engine and turbo are perfect, no errors or problems unresolved, car still runs fine, except for the badly slipping transmission when it warms up.
If anyone wants the whole car as is, where is, I have a clean title, I am 2nd owner, first owner bought his own lease car out of his own lease.
Everything is stock and perfect, except radio was replaced with an aftermarket unit, and headlights were upgraded to 35-watt HIDs from "Retrofit Source". The rear cargo cover is broken - it no longer retracts.
Message me here on MVS. Yes, I can do Paypal, yes I know how to properly pack fragile items.

2010 v50: Smaller, slightly sportier wagon. Its got a spoiler, so I upgraded with sway bars!

I have moved this to the sale for parts section at the bottom of the forum...a ghost post remains here. I figured you would have a better chance of selling your parts this way.

Thanks for your help, but somehow, that post is "locked" and I cannot help the new member who replied with finding the "private messages" section of MVS.

Hi there,
I need a set of fuel injectors, mine is a 2004 V70.
I just bought it , no owner manual so I don't know for sure which engine it has. 2.3 or maybe 2.5 , it has a turbo.
Also need an engine belly pan and maybe the cooling fan for engine bay, mine doesn't seem to come on.
I'm in Boston MA.

Which engine might matter, at least for the injectors.
I do not think that there was a 2.3 Liter in 2004.
Regardless, go track down the price of those parts, and I will sell as advertised - 25% of retail for a new part.
