Newbie, S60 2.4T trans won't always engage

I'm new to forum and haven't had a chance to read all topics. Whoever some that I've read concerning some of the issues I'm having with my Volvo are very informative. Is there any type of recall or anything that can help resolve my situation? When the trans get hot it won't go into drive all the time.

Most recalls expire after about 10 years, so you are probably past due on getting help from Volvo on major issues.

Which transmission do you have on your S60. There is a problematic 5 speed in the 2001 model year
