Parked the S80 & hopped in the Passat for the drive to work.
Upon arrival at home yesterday, I plugged in my cheap Harbor Freight universal code scanner & found #1 cylinder misfire.
removed cover & swapped coils between #1 & #2 cylinders. Cleared code & started engine.
Misfire moved to cylinder #2.
Quenched my thirst with two icy cold IPA's & cut grass.
Awoke this morning & rode my FJR into Picayune to one of the many auto parts stores here & to my surprise had one in stock.
There are maybe ten Volvo's in the county. Saved me time instead of ordering on line.
Replaced #2 coil, cleared code & the 2.9 is hitting on all six again!
