Hi,
My 1992 960 wagon has 198,000 miles and the front and rear suspension looks to be original. It feels a bit soft and I would like to do everything possible to improve the ride quality of this car. The bushings and sway bar end links need to be changed along with the engine mounts and transmission mount...
For the struts I thought of installing the Bilstein touring class being sold by IPD and for the rear to do the Nivomat conversion also being sold by IPD. Has anyone used these? Any thoughts?, recommendations?
Anything else which can be done to improve the suspension on this?
Thank you!

The rear of the 92-94 960 wagon uses the same rear shocks and springs as the 740/760 wagon. KYB Gas-A-Just rear shocks for a 740 are mono-tube gas shocks. Heavy duty rear springs made by Kilen for the 740/760 wagon are good. The front hydraulic strut inserts are probably made by Boge. If the rear has no stabilizer bar, one (including mounting brackets) from a 1987 760 sedan is 19 mm.
