96 black paint 019 basecoat / clearcoat?

96 black paint 019 basecoat / clearcoat?

Hi!

Is the black paint (code 019) on my 96 basecoat clearcoat or just a single stage paint? The reason i ask is because on my 95 (dark red) the clearcoat is peeling off and i'd like to know if i even have clearcoat on my 96 before worrying how to prevent the 96 from peeling other than park it inside the garage.

Take a rag with a little acetone and wipe an inconspicuous painted area. If any paint transfers to the rag its single stage.

Besides the plastic bits though I thought all of the P80's had single stage paint.
