This isn't one of those states that makes things easy. I made the mistake of not getting the title for my V70 notarized originally, and had to track the guy down 6 months later when I finally had it rebuilt and ready to be registered. Luckily he's a nice guy and I found his business card in the glovebox!
Then for my Honda the idiot I bought it from never transferred the title to his name, but the whole thing was filled out already with no notary. That's when I decided I was done with it! Sub-$300 car problems, huh? Hahaha

It's was a very good Saturday!!!

I got out this morning and got busy!!!

I replaced the swage on the oil line with a clamp. That has to be one of the hardest hoses to get to I have ever had the misfortune to work on. I ended up Dremeling the swage off and clamping it. While I was down there, I inspected the RMS area and it appears that the Cam Seals WERE the main cause of the oil on that side and the swage was the cause on the other side. So between the two it appears I have my oil leaks solved for the moment. The oil cooler hoses need to be replaced/upgraded eventually, but for the moment it won't mark it's parking spots!! While I was sweating my a$$ off, I also did the torque mounts (upper and lower). So now the motor is locked in. It stopped leaking oil. I went for a 100 mile jaunt and it didn't have any issues

Now the only thing I need to do is get some good tires on it and replace that atrocious exhaust it has on it. It's fine when it's at part throttle, but at anything above cruise it's got a horrible buzz!! Looks like some idiot PO put some mid-pipe resonator on it. It's got a great growl at idle, but sounds all ricey when you're on it!

Any suggestions for a replacement exhaust? Something that won't break the bank but sounds decent? How do these motors do with a cat-back straight pipe? Too loud or nasty? I've watched the YouTube versions of it, but I trust them about as much as I trust the PO for their accuracy! Any thoughts?

Cheers!

Nice! I need to replace my oil cooler hoses. They're both leaking at the oil t-stat and the return line is leaking at a crimp.
Look into OBX turbo back exhaust. That's what I'd like to get eventually... it sounds so damn good! It's a little expensive, but shop around a little and you can get it for around $500.
