Selling our 1989 Volvo 245 Wagon. This was our "backup" car that we used when one of the others was in the shop. It has served us well, but we bought another Volvo and don't need four cars for two drivers. The car is in good enough shape to be a daily driver, but as with any nearly 30 year old car it could use some work. It has been maintained by me, and by the previous owner and I have a 2" thick binder of repair and service receipts for the car. There is one rust spot on the rear side window that could easily be repaired. Car seems solid at highway speeds, but does have a vibration around 65 that is likely tire balance or alignment. Rear brakes and shocks were just done. AC was updated to R134 and works fine. Tires are nearly new. Headlights were replaced with good clear used ones. Car starts and runs every time I've needed it, stops well, and gets us around without incident. If you are looking for a perfect restored Volvo wagon, this car is not it. If you want a solid, dependable driver this is a good one to consider. 282K miles on the odometer. Price is $2,200 and includes many spare parts.
