Greetings,
I have narrowed down a non working horn to the steering wheel switch. It was intermittent depending on what part of the steering wheel was pressed until it stopped working altogether,so I'm guessing that it's not a clockspring issue. Cruise and radio controls work normally. In searching the various parts suppliers,I can find no listing for a switch for this year. I'm also looking for a write up regarding properly removing the airbag for this model. I've seen one for older models, but I would like to be sure of the procedure for this one before proceeding. Thanks in advance for any help with this.
Steve

Hello again.Has anyone done this? I've seen a video regarding he airbag removal, but I would like to be certain of the installation procedure for this vintage before proceeding in order to avoid tripping the warning light...Thanks...Steve

Got this apart and tested the continuity of the switch to discover that it's working properly...on to the clockspring and the rest of the circut..FYI...most of the airbag videos on YouTube show the spring loaded catch to release air bag; this still uses the older torx screws to secure it.I figured that out after stabbing a screwdriver into the solid metal plate of the horn bracket to no avail...
