960 vs S90/V90 Woodgrain matching?

Post by ProjectT-5R »

Hello all.

I have a new to me 960. My interior code is 6915. I have, what I would call a dark burlwood, dash trim. I would like to add a wood trimmed shift knob from an S90/V90 to my car.

Can anyone advise if there was only one type of wood in the 960 and the S90/V90 or were there multiple species or shades of wood? Basically, can I get any S90/V90 knob and it will match or do I need to be worried about finding the correct wood? Or, the last and worst possiblity, was the 960 one species/shade of wood and the S90/V90 was another and I will never find a match?

Thanks for help from those with insight on this.
